The evergreen tree is my Green. I took this photo of the Payette River near Boise, Idaho last Saturday. It is a beautiful area and Danielle took me to see McCall and the Payette Lake. The lake was frozen--we had fun!
This is exactly right for the assignment. When we lived at the Pass, the best thing about the melting snow was the deep, lush, ever-true color of the ever-greens. Those are the sentinels of all seasons. We in the NW are lucky to have such steady brightness.
